Drive
The
Annual Fund Drive is currently in progress. We depend on your assistance
through donations to continue to provide the best care possible! Please
help us out by donating. And remember, all donations are made to a
Non-Profit organization and can be claimed on your taxes!
Want to
make a difference in the community?
LVAC is
always looking for new volunteers to join their family like atmosphere. We
are not only looking for those with EMS experience but also those with little
knowledge of EMS. Free training is provided in this fun and energetic
atmosphere. If you're interested in volunteering with the Lancaster
Volunteer Ambulance Corps, please go to the Operations-Volunteers section or call us at 716-683-3283.

Welcome to the official website of the Lancaster Volunteer
Ambulance Corps. We are a 98% volunteer organization comprised of EMT's,
Advanced EMT's and Paramedics. The LVAC was founded in 1953 and has been
providing pre-hospital emergency service to Lancaster and Depew for over 50
years. The LVAC was the first volunteer ambulance service in Western New York.
Annually, the LVAC responds to an average of 3,500 calls, amounting to just over
8 calls per day. Our average number of calls is more then double any other
single EMS/Fire agency in the jurisdiction. Our volunteers are an essential part
of our organization. With them, we are able to provide the best care in the
shortest amount of time to our community. If you would like to learn more about
joining our family, go to Operations-Volunteers.
Thank You Senator Volker!
The members of the Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps, their
families, and the community would like to extend a personal thank you to Senator
Volker and his team who were unselfishly committed to obtaining funds from New
York State for LVAC's purchase of a new ambulance. We are so grateful for
the help of everyone who worked on this and cannot thank you all enough!
