Statement of Commitment
The members of the Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps hereby affirm that they are
in service for the relief of suffering and the support of our fellow community members
in their time of need. Members of the Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps commit
- to the best of our knowledge, skills, and abilities - to provide emergency medical
service for the community we serve. This care shall surpass the needs and expectations
of those who require our assistance.
Our mission shall be accomplished by remaining steadfast to the ideals to which
we were founded while trusting in divine providence for the continuance of our well-being.
- Response to all medical 911 calls involving both BLS (Basic Life Support) or ALS
(Advanced Life Support) treatment and transport as appropriate.
- Standby services for community events including the 4th of July, Christmas Tree
Lighting, 3v3 Basketball Tournament, etc.. We are also committed to doing stanby's
for various school events and any other event that we are deemed needed.
- We provided support to Lancaster Village Volunteer Fire Company, Depew Volunteer
Fire Company, Twin District Volunteer Fire Company, Bowmansville Volunteer Fire
Company, Town Line Volunteer Fir Company, Millgrove Volunteer Fire Company, and
offer mutual aid support to the surrounding areas as needed.
