New bike unit to be used at July 4th celebration

The Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be utilizing their Emergency Bike Unit to help provide a safe environment for the public at the 4th of July Celebration in the Village of Lancaster. The festivities will be taking place beginning at 11am on Saturday July 2nd and lasting until the final fireworks on the 4th of July evening. The LVAC Emergency Bike Unit was introduced this year to provide EMS services to areas that are difficult to reach by ambulance. It also provides LVAC members the opportunity to be more involved and visible at public events.
