LVAC participates in crash drill

966795_347225898738275_1642818132_o LVAC participated on May 30, 2013 in an emergency response drill and simulation at Lancaster High School involving a driver distraction accident with multiple fatalities. The drill was sponsored by the Lancaster High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) chapter and included Bowmansville Volunteer Fire Department, Lancaster Police and Mercy Flight. The mock accident was caused when one motorist was texting while driving. Students watched the drill to witness first hand the possible deadly consequences of distracted driving — especially during prom season. WKBW Channel 7 was also there and aired this report:
